Days and Times:
The iRacing Presents the Nürburgring 24h event will run for 24 hours straight. There will be four timeslots for the race, which are as follows:
- Timeslot #1: Friday 22:00 GMT / 5:00 pm EST
- Timeslot #2: Saturday 7:00 GMT / 2:00 am EST
- Timeslot #3: Saturday 12:00 GMT / 7:00 am EST
- Timeslot #4: Saturday 16:00 GMT / 11:00 am EST
Track, License, and Sim Date:
The event will take place on the Nürburgring Combined – Gesamtstrecke 24h track. The license required to participate in the race is D 4.0 Road. The Sim Date, which is the time of day setting, is May 20, 2023. The Session Start Time is 3:13 PM.
Session Format:
The iRacing Nürburgring 24h race will have a warmup session of 20 minutes before the start. The qualifying session will be attached and solo, with each driver getting 25 minutes for two laps. The race will be a 24-hour endurance event, with dynamic weather conditions. The splits will be divided by iRating. The event is a team event, which means that a team must have a minimum of two drivers and a maximum of 16.
Rules and Regulations:
The race will have a Stop and Go Limit of 100 incidents, and every 20 incidents after that will result in a stop and go penalty. There is no DQ Limit. The field size for the race is 55 cars.
