News, Updates and Rumors
No NASCAR Races: NASCAR did not hold a race in their top three series at Lucas Oil Raceway in 2012 and none are scheduled for 2013. Only the NASCAR Nationwide and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series visited LOR and in 2012 the NNS went to the big oval of Indianapolis Motor Speedway instead. Not sure why the NCWTS stopped visiting the track. With no NASCAR races here and current tracks not in the sim, iRacing has pushed this track to the side. No official word if work will continue or when. 1/18
Production Stopped: iRacing has scanned Lucas Oil Raceway and it is believed that it was in production for at least some time. iRacing scheduled a World Tour event for May 25, 2012 at LOR, but the event was cancelled. No word from iRacing as to when we may see this track.
Lucas Oil Raceway has a 0.686-mile (1.104 km) oval, 2.5-mile (4.0 km) road course, and 4,400-foot (1,300 m) drag strip.
